Since 1 July 2023, Soufflet Agriculture has spun off its seed origination and production business with the creation of IS SEEDS, in France, the Czech Republic and Romania.
The aim of this strategic move is to make the seeds business more transparent within the group and to improve its industrial efficiency. The production of cereal seeds is one of InVivo’s key objectives, in line with the vertical structuring of the malting and baking industries.
IS Seeds will be managed by Julien Bas (already in charge of Bioline’s seeds division, which includes Semences de France, LS Production, DTI Sementes, Tradisco Seeds, Novasem and Aegilops Applications), who will be joined by Nicolas Cousin in charge of IS SEEDS’ BtoB operations and Nicolas Betrix as head of marketing and product portfolio development for the Soufflet Seeds and Semences Soufflet brands.
Jakub Chromek becomes Production Manager for the Czech and Romanian plants, and François Grenot, Production Manager in France from the Nogent-sur-Seine plant (10).
